Château Olivier Rouge comes from Château Olivier, a Cru Classé de Graves estate in Pessac-Léognan, Bordeaux, built around a moated medieval château and owned by the Bethmann family since 1886. The red blend leans on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a touch of Petit Verdot, grown across gravel-and-clay soils. Expect a deep ruby color, blackcurrant and blackberry fruit, and savory tertiary notes of tobacco and pencil lead, backed by ripe, well-structured tannins.
