Armagnac fans, meet a graceful pour from Gascony. Château Arton La Réserve comes from Colombard and Ugni Blanc grown on the family's Domaine d'Arton, blended from brandies aged more than six years in the Haut-Armagnac appellation. The nose leans floral with chamomile and candied kumquat, while the palate turns bright with candied citrus fruit. Bottled at 45% ABV, it earned the Prix d'Excellence in 2017. Open it about 20 minutes ahead and sip alongside coffee or a good cigar.
