Overview

More Info

Cazadores Tequila Blanco is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Los Altos (the Jalisco highlands) near Arandas, where the brand has distilled since 1922. Bottled unaged straight after distillation, this blanco is built to showcase raw agave character rather than barrel influence, delivering a nose of citrus and fragrant herbs with a clean, smooth, citrus-forward finish. It's a versatile mixing tequila — shake it into a classic margarita or paloma, or add jalapeño for a spicy twist, though it holds its own sipped neat too.

Reviews

For a decent margarita, we frequently use this recipe.

"This is a go-to ingredient for us when we want a great margarita, Paloma, or just to sip it straight up. The buck illustration is great and adds a wonderful touch to the box. We wouldn't alter anything about this tequila. We always keep it in the freezer so we can pour it after a long day at the office."

Before I tried Cazadores, I didn't like tequila.

"Up until I tasted Cazadores, I detested tequila. Some tequilas have an odd aftertaste, a repulsive aroma, and the well-known burn in your throat. This tequila has a great crisp flavor and is smooth. This one is for you if you enjoy tequila that hasn't been matured. Blanco is also quite affordable and well-regarded."

— Eric G. (5/5)

Personally, I adore it and appreciate a shot.

"I will ALWAYS prefer Cazadores Blanco while drinking or taking shots along with Mexican food. It is quite simply the best tequila that makes you anticipate a fun night with your buddies. Despite the fact that it may have a strong flavor, I adore it and enjoy a shot of it with my meal. 175L of Cazadores Blanco Tequila"

"Tequila! More information is not necessary. Strong, concise, and clear. I prefer my tequila in that manner. This brand is the way to go in a margarita or straight shots! When you visit, expect a Mango Jalapeo Margarita because I personally like a little spiciness in my drinks."

— Christopher R. (5/5)

Best Silver there is, without a doubt.

"This Silver Tequila is by far my favorite! It is much better than that overrated Silver Tequila that comes in the nice glass bottle—you know the one. And I'm originally from Mexico. Forget about that fashionable tequila and get this one instead since it has a silky finish, works well with any mixer, and is amazing for the price. Cazadores Blanco has never given me a headache or a hangover. Really fantastic tequila, I must say!"

— Martin S. (5/5)

Avoid paying attention to other reviews

"Because of the other middling ratings, I felt obligated to post this. I regularly consume Casamigos (when it was actually delicious), Patron (ew), and the majority of other well-known brands, but this is by far my favorite. It is great combined or alone and surpasses the top shelf. It's fantastic, but this isn't an advertisement."

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Distiller and Tasting Table are split on Cazadores Blanco. Fans cite a bright citrus, grassy, white-pepper profile and 100% Weber agave with no additives. Detractors knock a rubbery, vanilla-artificial nose and rough finish. Public consensus: mixed but a solid mixer.
