Becky's "Distiller's Edition" of our very popular Roundstone Rye. Only one in every ten barrels gets selected to be in the Roundstone Rye "92 Proof" whisky.This whisky is the culmination of several years of planning. "For a few years now, we've been putting whisky away for storage," remarked Becky Harris, Chief Distiller and President of Catoctin Creek Distilling Company. "We pulled some of the more interesting barrels from the back of the warehouse and decided to release these at a higher proof: a whisky specially curated for flavor, while still being remarkably smooth, as is our existing 80 proof Roundstone."

Tasting notes
Nose: The rich and sweet nose strongly resembles the one on the Roundstone Rye 80 Proof. In addition I find this rye more green on the nose, as an added dimension, on top of the creamy vanilla and caramel notes.
Taste: Medium body, and quite peppery delivery. This is a rye, that’s for sure. White pepper, black pepper and even chili. Toasted oak, and rich vanilla.
Finish: Medium long finish. Still quite peppery. Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and barbecued banana.
