From the Rosales family's century-old distillery in Jalisco's Los Valles agave country, this reposado spends six to eight months in well-seasoned American oak barrels that have cradled tequila for over two decades. Stone-oven-roasted, copper-pot-distilled agave carries through in a nose of cooked agave, cinnamon, and warm earth, opening on the palate to oak, clove, and a touch of ripe banana before a bright, creamy finish. Sip it neat to let the barrel speak, or shake it into a smoky agave old fashioned.
