Casamigos built its name on smooth, easy-sipping tequila — its mezcal follows the same instinct, made in Oaxaca with 100% Espadín agave slow-roasted in earthen pits, crushed on a traditional tahona wheel, and twice-distilled in copper pots. The joven expression skips barrel aging, so the smoke stays gentle: tamarind and pomegranate up front, dried oregano and mint through the middle, then a soft black-pepper finish. Sip it neat to taste the process, or shake it into a smoky mezcal margarita for something a little different.
