Casa Maestri's Añejo comes from a family distillery in Jalisco that cooks 100% blue agave in stone ovens for up to two days before double-distilling it in stainless steel pots. Time in ex-bourbon barrels brings out vanilla, caramel, and a touch of black pepper against that classic cooked-agave backbone, with oak rounding out a smooth, lingering finish. It picked up a Double Gold at the 2022 SF World Spirits Competition. Sip it neat in a rocks glass, or alongside dark chocolate.
