Here's a reposado from the Jalisco highlands with an unusual barrel story: master distiller Mauricio Camarena rests it across a mix of new American oak, ex-bourbon, and used tequila casks. The agave grows six to eight years, then roasts in brick ovens the slow way. Expect soft vanilla on the nose, cooked agave and a whisper of banana, then caramel and gentle oak on the finish. Pour it neat, or let it carry a Paloma. Sip Something New.
