Anejo built for the slow sip: Carrera comes from Arandas in the highlands of Jalisco, where blue Weber agave grows in iron-red soil. It's twice distilled, then rested about 15 months in new-char American oak—long enough to fold vanilla, honey, and baking spice around the cooked-agave core, with a black-pepper snap on the finish. A Double Gold winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Pour it neat, or let it anchor an anejo old fashioned.
