Yatir Mt. Amasa Dry Red is Carmel Wines' flagship blend from Yatir Winery, grown high in Israel's Judean Hills near Tel Arad and Mount Amasa, with vineyard plots sitting 650-900 meters above sea level. The blend leans on Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Petit Verdot, Shiraz, Merlot, Malbec, Tannat, and Cabernet Franc — each lot aged separately in a mix of small French oak barrels and large wooden vats before blending, then rested further in bottle. Expect purple hues, ripe plum and blackberry aromas with a touch of smoke, spice, and Mediterranean herbs like sage and thyme. Pour it alongside grilled lamb or a hard aged cheese.
