Cardenas Legacy started as a promoter's thank-you gift to the music industry before becoming its own label, built in Santa Clarita by veteran-founder Chris Cardenas with master distiller Francisco Gonzalez Jr. The Reposado is 100% Blue Weber agave from Arandas, Los Altos de Jalisco, fermented in open air the traditional way, then rested eight months in American oak bourbon barrels. Expect baked agave, caramel, and stone fruit with a whisper of orange peel. Sip it neat, or let that oak-rounded sweetness carry a simple paloma.
