Named for the Bay of the Sirens on Lake Garda, this amaro comes from Elisa Carta, a sommelier-turned-herbalist who learned her craft from her grandmother. Botanicals like rose hips, lemon, thistle, gentian, vanilla bean, and timut pepper each get their own 20-45 day infusion before blending, resting briefly, and a gentle paper filtration. At 27% ABV, expect medium bitterness from thistle and citrus, sweetened by vanilla with a peppery, gingery finish. Pour it over ice with a lemon twist, or top with tonic.
Tasting notes
Timut pepper gives a citrus note that reminds passionfruit and pink grapefruit. It has a silk structure with a perfect balance and a rounded flavor.
