From Normandy's Pays d'Auge, this VSOP Calvados is Boulard's blend of apple brandies aged a minimum of four years in oak, drawn from orchards growing some 120 apple varieties. Expect amber color and a nose of hazelnut, toast, and brioche over ripe orchard fruit, with a palate of vanilla, oak, baked apple, and applesauce that carries into a long, velvety finish.
