Buffalo Trace Distillery's O.F.C. Vintages honor the original Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, founded in 1870 by Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. and now home to Buffalo Trace itself. Each vintage-dated release rests in the distillery's warehouses for decades, often past the twenty-year mark, before filling a hand-cut crystal decanter inlaid with copper lettering, boxed with a provenance card noting the distillation year's history. Best poured neat in a proper glass and savored slowly — a collector's bourbon built for marking a milestone, not an everyday pour.
