Bruxo No. 1 is a joven mezcal from 100% Espadín grown around San Dionisio Ocotepec, Oaxaca, harvested at roughly eight years. Lucio and Juan Morales roast the agave in a conical earthen pit over pine and oak, mill it with a horse-drawn stone tahona, ferment in sabino-wood vats and distill twice in copper.
