Grown wild on the cliffs of Oaxaca, Tepeztate agave takes up to 25 years to mature — and Bozal lets that patience show. Distilled artisanally in small copper pot stills at Santa Ana del Río, this single-maguey mezcal opens with herbaceous, wet-stone aromas layered with grapefruit zest, orange flower, and pine, then settles into fresh florals, white pepper, and mineral spice on the finish. Sip it neat to let the smoke unwind, or pour it for anyone chasing mezcal's wilder, more mineral side.
