Overview

Vallepicciola's Pinot Noir from a single 480-metre vineyard, Boscobruno, in the Chianti Classico hills at Castelnuovo Berardenga. Fermented and macerated in cement, then twelve months in French barrique, half of it new. Pale ruby, with rose petal, wild strawberry and cassis over silky tannins.
