Barrell's Cask Finish Series continues with a bourbon blend drawn from Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee stocks aged six to fourteen years, married together and rested an additional year and a half in rare Japanese Mizunara oak. That wood brings out coconut, sandalwood, and warm herbal spice against the whiskey's base of ripe stone fruit and toffee, all bottled uncut at cask strength. Tasting notes
An Invigorating nose of fresh strawberry and white peach interweaves with sugar cookies and toasted corn. Vibrant notes of lemongrass and peppermint hit the palate first, then transform to a deep sweetness of Medjool dates followed by an enthralling citrus and woodsy earthiness.
