The Barkan Reserve Gold Edition offers a special edition of the recognized Reserve Series. This wine is made of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown in the Upper Galilee, long considered one of the best grape growing areas in Israel. During the maturation process of the wine, our winemakers found such unique character and together they decided to produce "The Reserve Gold Edition" as a hallmark for its exceptional quality. After fermentation, this wine was aged carefully in oak barrels, selected by our winemakers. This wine shows characteristics of red and black plums, sweet spices, with balanced tannins and a long, fruity finish.
