Named for the stones used to filter it, Barceló Imperial Onyx is a Dominican rum built for slow sipping. Distilled from sugarcane juice in San Pedro de Macorís, it's aged up to ten years in heavily toasted oak barrels before its signature onyx-stone filtration, emerging mahogany-hued with toasted notes of cherry, coffee, and nuts giving way to wood and vanilla on a long finish. Best poured neat or over a single large cube, letting the aromatics unfold.
