Banhez Arroqueño is a 100% agave mezcal crafted by master mezcalero Apolonio Patricio Lopez in San Agustín Amatengo, Oaxaca, part of a co-operative of more than 35 families continuing generations-old production methods. It's distilled from wild Arroqueño agave, a towering variety that can take up to 15 years to mature in the region's high-elevation terrain. Natural fermentation and copper-pot distillation yield a mezcal that's earthy and dark, with subtle smoke layered over an underlying sweetness. Bottled at 47% ABV, it's built for slow, neat sipping or a smoky twist on an agave cocktail.
