Castello Banfi's SummuS earned its reputation as the first Super Tuscan to come out of Montalcino, and the 2017 vintage shows why. Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah are fermented and aged separately in French oak for 12-14 months before blending, then rest together in wood another 10-12 months.
