Meet a blanco that lets the agave do all the talking. Atanasio comes from San Pedro de los Landeros, just up the road from the town of Tequila, where the Landeros family (NOM 1599) cooks their Blue Weber agave in an autoclave, ferments with wild ambient yeast, and distills twice in stainless pot stills—additive-free, start to finish. Expect cooked agave, green apple, and herbal aromas giving way to sweet agave, earthy minerality, and a flick of black pepper. Sip it neat or in a bright margarita.
