Legend says 400 rabbit gods once guarded Mesoamerica's agave spirits, and 400 Conejos borrows that mythology for its name. This Añejo starts as 100% Espadín agave, cooked and distilled in Tlacolula, Oaxaca on traditional copper stills, then rests in American oak for about a year. The result: dark amber color, gentle wood smoke over cooked agave, with vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit rounding out a soft, complex finish. Pour it neat, or over a single large ice cube to open it up slowly.
Tasting notes
Flavor: Bold and flavorful on the palate, finding a perfect mix of smoky and woody vibes. There's a touch of sweet caramel and vanilla that slowly fades, leaving behind a gentle hint of citrus and fruity goodness in the end.
Aroma: Smoky with hints of wood, followed by delicate tones of cooked agave and fruity notes.
