Meet anCnoc, the modern-minded Highland single malt made entirely by hand at Knockdhu Distillery, founded back in 1894. Twelve years resting in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and Spanish oak ex-sherry butts gives it a lovely push and pull: bright lemon zest and fresh green apple up front, then creamy vanilla, honeyed malt, and a gentle warming spice.
