Amor Mío Tequila Reposado comes from Tequila Tres Mujeres, a Los Valles, Jalisco distillery founded in 1996, made with 100% Blue Weber agave cooked in stone ovens and double-distilled in copper-lined pot stills. The spirit rests roughly 11 months across American and French oak, picking up warm cooked-agave sweetness alongside vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of caramel and dried fruit, with a smooth, lingering finish. Each bottle is hand-painted by Mexican ceramic artisans, making it as much a display piece as a pour. Try it in a tequila old fashioned, or sip it neat to catch the oak.
Tasting notes
TEQUILA REPOSADO: Eight years, 100% agave blue, 40% vol. alc., 11 months (mix of barrels) in American and French oak barrels.
VISUAL FASE: Crystal, golden yellow with silver and gold reflections, with a large body.
AROMATIC FASE: Great personality, with honey reflections and delicate citrus nuances like orange glass and preserved fruits like cherry and peach. The cooked agave is sweet; with caramel aromas, vanilla and almonds, it is preserved in the barrels.
SABORES IN BOCA: It is silky, with a touch of preserved fruit, candy and vanilla that leaves a delicate and persistent taste. Leave a sweet and soft dew. •
MARIDAJE: Recommended as an appetizer or accompanied by pasta or steak.
