Amaro Nonino Quintessentia Riserva starts from the same 1933 family recipe grandfather Antonio Nonino perfected in Italy's Friuli hills, then goes further: the Quintessentia of herbs, spices, fruit, berries and roots is enriched with grape distillate aged at least 12 months, then rests another 24-plus months in oak barriques. Expect autumnal brushwood and moss opening into raisin and passito sweetness, balanced by rhubarb bitterness, flamed orange, and caramelized vanilla.
