From the Caffo family's distillery in Limbadi, deep in Calabria, this amaretto skips the usual apricot-kernel shortcut and leans on 100% Sicilian almonds, macerated in an herbal infusion. Called Fratelli d'Italia, it was made as a taste of home for Italian emigrants. Expect real almond from nose to finish, a ribbon of black cherry, and warm baking-spice sweetness at 30% ABV.
