Amarás works in small batches from its home in Oaxaca, where eight-year-old Espadín agave is pit-roasted over native hardwood, crushed by tahona wheel, and double-distilled in copper stills. This Reposado spends a minimum of three months resting in a blend of American and French oak, taking on a warm amber hue along with toasted-wood, caramel, and vanilla notes atop the classic earthy sweetness of cooked agave. Smooth enough for sipping neat, it also holds its own in an Old Fashioned. The line earned Gold at the 2022 IWSC.
