Overview

More Info

Adictivo Plata is a 100% Blue Weber agave blanco tequila made in El Arenal, Jalisco, under master distiller Gildardo Partida, whose family has crafted tequila for generations. After distillation, this plata takes an unusual detour: a three-week rest in French oak barrels, softening the spirit while keeping its crystal-clear color. Expect herbaceous, lightly sweet aromas with a hint of vanilla, and a palate of cooked agave, vanilla, and white pepper that finishes warm and smooth. Sip it neat over a single large ice cube, or shake it into a margarita.

Incredible tequila flavor

"My neighbor offered me to have a shot, but when I realized it was tequila, which I don't like, he insisted I try it. Boy, it was the nicest tequila I've ever tasted; it was smooth and sweet; I'll be buying the product; I took more than one shot because it had such a great flavor."

— Jacqueline G. (4/5)

Very Tasty Tequila

"This tequila is great! It's so seamless. The bottle top is also filled with tequila, which is a neat feature. Like a last ditch effort. Before I discovered that Tipxy sold it, I used to order it from a store in San Diego."

— James B. (5/5)

Really gentle and silky

""I was curious about the flavor and wasn't let down; it was really smooth, light, and tasty. Definitely a do-over. I mainly drink Blanco-flavored tequila, consider myself knowledgeable, and would advise anyone."

— Joseph N. (4/5)

No More Purchasing

"I won't buy this tequila again because it has a terrible, foul taste."

— Carolyn B. (1/5)

★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ 3/5 AI Rating

Reviewers on Rum Howler and Agave Matchmaker describe Adictivo Plata as exceptionally smooth and sweet—cooked agave, lemon zest, pear, apple, caramel and vanilla from a 3-week French oak rest. Opinions split: dessert-tequila fans love the silky finish, critics call it too sweet and gimmicky.
