Meet a Speyside classic that makes single malt feel effortless. Aberlour 12 Year Old is matured two ways, part in American oak and part in sherry butts, and that double-cask approach is exactly what gives it such an easy, rounded balance. Expect ripe red apple and honey up front, then sherried warmth with notes of caramel, toffee and dark chocolate through a gentle, lingering finish. Sip it neat, add a splash of water, or pour it slow after dinner with friends.
