This limited expression of Aberfeldy has been finished in Tuscan red wine casks from Bolgheri, Italy. In 2022 Malt Master, Stephanie Macleod selected these casks that stand up to the more mature flavours in older Aberfeldy. The robust red wine finish has intensified all the honeyed richness of Aberfeldy’s golden whisky.
A limited edition whisky to be savoured and enjoyed.
Tasting notes
Nose - Layers of cherry, with syrupy morellos, and juicy fresh cherries, along with oaky vanilla, and toasted marzipan.
Palate - Cocoa nibs, soft vanilla, peppery oak spice, and juicy blackberries, with hints of toasted coconut.
Finish - Silky oak, and baking spices.
