Benriach's Twenty One doesn't — Master Blender Rachel Barrie marries unpeated and peated spirit matured across bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak, and Bordeaux red wine casks, all resting a minimum of 21 years in Speyside. The result layers berry fruit and orchard apple against candied grape, cocoa, and smoked pine nut, finishing on caramelized pear and gentle honey smoke. Bottled at 46% ABV, it's built for slow sipping neat, letting each cask's character unfold in the glass.
