1693 Distillery's Cask Strength Bourbon Whiskey comes from Fredericksburg, Texas, a Hill Country operation named for its 1,693-foot elevation. The mash bill runs 99% estate-grown Texas corn to 1% malted barley, cut to proof with well water drawn on the property, and aged a minimum of four years before bottling as a small batch. Expect a rich pour of butterscotch, toasted pecan, and warm apple pie with a whisper of cocoa and white pepper on the finish. Pour it neat to let the cask strength open up, or over one large cube.
