Eagle Rare 10 Year

The flagship: aged at least 10 years, 90 proof, single-barrel character at a double-digit price — which is why it vanishes from shelves the day it arrives. One of the best value-for-age statements in all of bourbon.

Is Eagle Rare the same as Buffalo Trace?

Same distillery, same mash bill (#1), different aging: Eagle Rare carries a 10-year age statement and is dumped with single-barrel character, while standard Buffalo Trace is younger and batched. Think of Eagle Rare as Buffalo Trace's older sibling.

Why is Eagle Rare 17 so expensive?

It's part of the annual Buffalo Trace Antique Collection — five bottles released once a year in allocations so small most stores never receive one. Seventeen years of Kentucky aging means most of each barrel evaporated before bottling. Market price reflects genuine scarcity, not markup theater.

When does BTAC come out?

The Antique Collection ships each fall, typically September–November. Stock appears here as our licensed retail partners receive bottles — check back or watch the Rare & Allocated collection.
