Who is Vanessa Braxton?
Vanessa Braxton was born in Brooklyn New York and went to the Pratt Institute for Construction Management and Engineering. After graduating in 1992, she worked as a structural engineer; in 1996 she joined a Harvard Law School program where she gained certification in Negotiation for Executives. In addition to her education and career, Braxton is a married mom of three.
Vanessa Braxton has a corporate background in construction and engineering, working for New York State managing high level contracts. True to form, Braxton retired and then started her own business, Black Momma Vodka, and some of her clients included the Marine Corps MWR, US Embassy in Moscow, US Embassy of Columbia, US Embassy of Libya & the American Embassy of Lome.

Ingredients
- 2 oz Black Momma Pomegranate Tea Vodka
- 1 oz hibiscus-infused simple syrup
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- Splash of club soda
- Pomegranate arils (for garnish)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine Black Momma Pomegranate Tea Vodka, hibiscus-infused simple syrup, and fresh lime juice.
- Shake the mixture well for about 15 seconds. Strain the cocktail into a rock glass filled with ice.
- Top up the glass with a splash of club soda for effervescence, and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh pomegranate arils for a burst of flavor and visual appeal. Stir gently and enjoy!
