Every bottle of Yuu Baal traces back to named mezcaleros across Oaxaca — this Espadín comes from Isaias Martinez Juan in San Juan del Río. The agave grows roughly seven years before it's harvested, fermented open-air in pine-wood vats, and double-distilled in copper. The result is a joven, unaged mezcal: soft up front with a lively, earthy intensity and a whisper of wood smoke. Pour it neat at room temperature, add an orange slice, and sip slowly. Sip something new.
