About Yamato

Yamato was created by Aiko Importers after contacting one of the largest distilleries in Yamanshi Prefecture and learning of excess barrels of Japanese Whisky that were not assigned to a market could be acquired Aiko was able to contract for this whisky and under Japanese authority developed Yamato label to be bottled exclusively as a small batch Japanese Whisky.

The Takeda Armor

The Takeda Armor is a type of samurai armor that originated in Japan during the Muromachi period (1336-1573). It was named after Takeda Shingen, a famous Japanese daimyo who was known for his military prowess and leadership. The Takeda Armor was designed to protect samurai warriors during battle and was known for its high level of functionality and durability. The armor was designed to be lightweight and flexible, allowing samurai warriors to move quickly and efficiently on the battlefield. Today, the Takeda Armor is considered a highly prized and valuable artifact of Japanese history and culture.

Takeda Armor Highball

Ingredients:

- 2 oz. Yamato Takeda Armor Whisky

- 4-6 oz. soda water

- Ice cubes

- Lemon wedge, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.

2. Pour Yamato Takeda Armor Whisky over the ice.

3. Top off with soda water, leaving about an inch of space at the top of the glass.

4. Stir gently with a spoon to combine the ingredients.

5. Garnish with a lemon wedge, if desired.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
