Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Willett Family Estate Cask Strength Rye 4 Year comes from Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, where the family blends two house mash bills — a high-rye recipe and a lower-rye counterpart — to echo the fruit-and-spice character of old-style Maryland rye. Bottled at full cask strength with no dilution, each barrel carries its own personality: expect cracked rye grain, baking spice, honeyed sweetness, and a warm, oak-driven finish with a peppery kick. Pour it neat in a rocks glass to catch the full barrel proof, or use it to build a bolder Manhattan.
Tasting notes
Bottled at a cask strength this powerful rye is deeply complex with tart cherry notes on the nose followed by baking spice and just a hint of oak. The palate is robust with dark cherries, charred vanilla, and rye spice. The finish is lingering with spiced notes and cherry all throughout.
