A single cask of the 10-year rye, filled at barrel strength rather than the standard bottling proof and finished at the farm in Shoreham, Vermont. The high-rye mash pushes baking spice, orange peel and a cooling mint edge over caramel and toasted oak. A splash of water tames the heat without flattening the spice.
