Uncle Nearest took its 1884 small batch from the Nearest Green Distillery in Shelbyville and gave it a second stay in XO Cognac casks out of the Fins Bois and Borderies. The Cognac reads as soft floral and orchard-fruit notes over the Tennessee whiskey. Bottled at cask strength, so water is fair game.
