In 2024, Suntory turned the page on its annual Yamazaki release and launched the Story of the Distillery series — this is the first edition, with label art of the newly renovated distillery as it stepped into its second century. Malts drawn from Spanish oak, mizunara and American white oak casks come together in a layered, no-age-statement single malt.
The blend pours rich and rounded: deep cask-driven sweetness layered with a hint of spice, the Yamazaki house style painted with all three of its signature oaks. Released by lottery in Japan.
