Tequila Solarum - Tequila Plata
Born in the red soils of Arandas, Jalisco, Tequila Solarum is a celebration of tradition, purity, and craftsmanship. Each expression — Plata, Reposado, and Añejo — is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, cultivated under the bright sun and clear skies of the Jalisco Highlands, where altitude and climate lend the agave its distinctive sweetness and character.
Our process honors time-honored methods: slow-cooking the agave to reveal its natural honeyed essence, carefully distilling to preserve its purity, and — in the case of our aged tequilas — resting in select American oak barrels to enhance complexity and depth.
VISUAL PHASE:
Crystal-clear and transparent, with bright silver reflections and medium body. When the glass is swirled, it shows slow-descending tears.
AROMATIC PHASE:
Cooked agave stands out, accompanied by spices such as pepper, along with citrus notes of lemon and herbal hints of fresh mint and tea.
PALATE:
Sweet flavor that reflects the cooked agave, with a silky, subtle, and long-lasting finish.
