Shipping $9.95 · and $7.49 over $99 · FREE over $149
Distilled in the heart of Dublin’s historic Liberties district, Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey (Cask No. 88948) is a rare, single-barrel release that highlights the innovative cask curation and triple-distilled smoothness for which Teeling is globally renowned. Drawn from one hand-selected barrel, this limited-allocation bottling delivers an unrepeatable snapshot of Teeling’s 100% malted barley spirit, unblended and untouched to showcase the pure interaction between Irish single malt and fine oak.
While Teeling's core releases are celebrated for their complex multi-cask marriages, their Single Cask program showcases the absolute pinnacle of individual barrel maturation.
100% Malted Barley: Crafted entirely from pure malted barley and triple-distilled in copper pot stills, yielding a soft, velvety texture that serves as the perfect canvas for wood maturation.
Single Barrel Exclusivity: Bottled directly from Cask No. 88948 without blending or mingling with other barrels, making every bottle in this limited run a true collector's piece with its own unique flavor footprint.
Uncompromised Character: Non-chill filtered and bottled at an elevated proof to preserve natural spirit oils, rich mouth-coating weight, and high aromatic intensity.
How to Enjoy
Neat: Sip from a Glencairn or copita glass to fully appreciate the single-cask structure, letting the pour rest in the glass for 3 to 5 minutes to release its deeper aromatic layers.
With a Water Drop: Add 2 to 3 drops of room-temperature distilled water to unlock bright orchard fruit aromas and soften the proof on the mid-palate.
Nose: Rich and invitingly sweet. Aromas of golden honey, ripe orchard fruits, and vanilla bean lead into toasted oak, soft baking spice, and a subtle hint of dried apricot.
Palate: Layered and luxurious on the tongue. Deep flavors of caramelized sugar, poached pears, and butterscotch melt into warm nutmeg, toasted almonds, and subtle citrus zest.
Finish: Long, smooth, and gently warming. Fades slowly with lingering notes of sweet malt, gentle oak tannins, wildflower honey, and cozy spice.
