Straw Boys borrows its name from a West of Ireland wedding tradition—costumed guests in conical straw hats who'd crash the reception, dance with the bride and groom, grab a drink, and vanish. This vodka comes from Connacht Whiskey Company on the banks of the River Moy in County Mayo, built on wheat rather than potato since the region favors grain. Five passes through copper pot stills give it a silky, semi-sweet mouthfeel with lemon zest and vanilla on the nose. Serve it chilled, or shake into a vodka soda.
