Stauning KAOS is a unique Danish triple malt whisky, created with a combination of our finest rye, single malt and heather- and peat-smoked single malt. This combination creates a complex but smooth taste with hints of smoke, spice and sweet citrus fruits.
Aged in new American oak casks and first-fill wine and spirit casks, Stauning KAOS encapsulates our distinctive approach to Danish whisky: Intentional, sustainable and timeless. Made from 100% local floor malted Danish rye and barley, and double distilled in 24 small copper pot stills heated over direct fire.
With Stauning KAOS you get both harmony and chaos in your glass and the whiskey invites you to explore its deep flavor nuances and quality. Perfect to enjoy neat, with ice or as a Danish twist in your favorite whiskey cocktails.
Lightly smoked, spicy and sweet. A whiskey with complexity and structure. On the nose, grain, chocolate, oak, caramel and cinnamon. In the mouth, a smoked chocolate bar with nougat, caramel, licorice, apple and oak. A long smoky aftertaste with hints of vanilla and dried red fruits
