Roseisle rarely steps into the spotlight — most of its spirit disappears into Diageo's blends — which makes this Speyside single malt something of an event. Origami Kite II, the distillery's second-ever standalone release, is bottled at cask strength (55.6% ABV) from first-fill bourbon and refill American oak casks. Expect a nose of stone fruit, vanilla and light coconut opening into a palate of honeyed pears, apples and warm oak spice, finishing long and gently sweet. Pour it neat to let the layers unfold.
