Sangre Alteña comes from the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, where the Franco Cuevas family has been growing blue Weber agave since the 1950s. This reposado rests ten months in French oak after the piñas are slow-cooked 60 hours in stone ovens and double-distilled with a heart-cut only. Expect cooked agave and soft vanilla up front, then buttery dried fruit, light cinnamon, and creamy caramel across the palate, finishing long and warm with a peppery snap. Pour it neat or over one big rock.
