After blending, the whiskey rests briefly in toasted barrels, a finishing step that sharpens rye's peppery edge while layering in vanilla, cocoa, and brown sugar. Bottled undiluted at cask strength, it took Gold for Rye Whiskey at the 2023 New Orleans Bourbon Festival. Pour it neat to catch the full spice, or over one large cube to let the toasted-barrel sweetness open up.
