Rowan's Creek Straight Kentucky Bourbon comes from Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, part of the family-run Kentucky Bourbon Distillers lineup and named for the creek that runs through the property. Distilled from a mashbill of 72% corn, 13% rye, and 15% barley, it's built for a smooth, easy-drinking approachability despite its strength. Expect caramel and vanilla sweetness backed by warm baking spice and oak. Pour it neat or over a single large cube to let those layers unfold slowly.
Bringing your nose to the glass and your olfactory is treated to caramel and vanilla layered on herbal and floral notes. The mouthfeel starts oily but finishes dry. On the palate you are treated to sweet caramel, vanilla, dusted in floral notes... finishing notes of oak and a lingering spiciness.
